Our Meeting will be held in the Lectural hall in the 3rd floor in the Intelligence Building in CASIA.

  • From the airport:

Take airport shuttle bus No. 5 to Zhong-Guan-Cun(RMB 16), then take a taxi (RMB 15).
Take airport express train (RMB 25), exchange to subway Line 10 (RMB 2) at Dong-Zhi-Men, get off at Zhi-Chun-Li.
Take a taxi directly from the airport (RMB 100-140).

Taxi drivers usually have mobile phones, they are often happy to help you to call somebody to give directions or instructions. So you can tell them your booking and ask them to call the hotel front desk if needed for directions in Chinese.

You can give the following Chinese note to the Taxi driver and tell them the name of the hotel, if you need help to call the lab:

The Weather

Beijing's climate is a monsoon influenced humid continental climate with hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters. The weather in Beijing during the latter part of September is usually quite nice with temperatures around 19-25°C (67-78°F).


Getting Around
Beijing is geographically compact and the public transport system (bus, ferry, or train) is efficient, relatively inexpensive and user friendly. Road signs in Beijing are bilingual in both English and Chinese.
